Job summary

Marina Bay Sands is seeking a hands-on Facilities Technician to join the Engineering/Facilities team in Singapore. You will perform stock handling, building maintenance, basic electrical repairs and on-site equipment checks to ensure optimal operation.

The role requires at least 2 years of experience and a background in an engineering environment. You will work with hand and power tools, collaborate with team members, and adapt to a fast-paced environment while adhering to company policies and

Responsibilities

• Hands-on moving stock inventory checks, building maintenance, basic electrical repairs and troubleshooting.
• On-site checks and repair of all types of equipment.
• Estimate materials and man-hour consumption for projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Job includes hands on moving stock inventory check, building maintenance, basic electrical repairs and trouble-shooting.


• Conduct on-site checks and repair of all type of equipment.


• Perform estimates on projects materials and man hour consumption.


• Perform ad-hoc tasks as required including management of handymen


• Must be able to cope and perform in fast pace environment to ensure quality work is carried out on schedule.


• Perform all duties in accordance with MBS policies and within the realm of the MBS Company vision, mission and values.

Job Requirements

Education & Certification

• Higher Nitec or related field preferred

Experience

• Minimum 2 years’ experience

Other Prerequisites

• Worked in the Engineering or Facilities department


• Be familiar to use a range of hand and power tools.


• Have a basic command of spoken and written English.


• Positive attitude and willing to learn.


• Get along with fellow Team Members and strong believer in teamwork.


• Be willing to work any day of the week and rotational shift duties (up to 12 midnight)


• Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.
