Job summary

A facilities management company in Singapore is looking for a staff member to handle various responsibilities, including troubleshooting minor repairs and supervising sub-contractors. Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and carry out minor repairs for the building and facilities.
• Supervise sub-contractors on repair works and maintenance.
• Assist Facilities Executive with preventive maintenance and projects.
• Attend to tenant feedback regarding facilities.
• Provide guidance to junior staff when necessary.
• Perform routine servicing on M&E systems as required.
• Respond to initial faults reported by clients.
• Troubleshoot and rectify faults.
• Update on outstanding faults status.
• Supervise specialist contractors during maintenance.
• Carry out shift duties.
• Perform additional tasks as instructed.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and carry out minor repairs (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, builder, etc) for the building and related facilities.
• Supervise sub-contractors who carry out approved repair works and scheduled maintenance in the building.
• Assist Facilities Executive & officer to execute preventive maintenance regime and/or ad-hoc upgrading project and monitor the work progress.
• Assist Facilities Executive & officer to attend to tenant’s feedback on the building and related facilities.
• Provide guidance and coaching to junior staff when required.
• To carry out routine servicing on M&E systems i.a.w. operation requirements.
• To provide initial fault response reported by client.
• Performing basic troubleshooting/ rectification of faults.
• Updating & follow up on completed/ outstanding faults status.
• To supervise specialist contractors maintenance activities (as & when required).
• To carry out shift duties.
• To carry out additional tasks as instructed by company/ immediate supervisor.
