Technician Fire & Safety and Security System Engineer

As a Technical Team Lead for Gas Flooding Systems, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers and technicians to ensure successful project execution, commissioning, and support. Your role will involve overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of Gas Flooding Systems such as FM200, Novec, Inergen, and CO systems. It is essential to ensure that the systems comply with PESO and UL certification standards, requiring occasional travel for certification processes. Regular reporting to the Managing Director on project progress and technical updates is a key aspect of this role.Your main focus will be on ensuring the safety, documentation, and project timelines are met while upholding quality standards. Staying informed about technological advancements in fire suppression and system integration will be crucial. Troubleshooting system issues, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring the Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) deliverables are met are also part of your responsibilities.To excel in this role, you must possess a strong technical knowledge of Gas Flooding Systems and fire suppression technologies. Hands-on experience with control panels, detection systems, and integration software is essential. Familiarity with PESO regulations and UL standards is required. Leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively are crucial. Willingness to travel for projects, certifications, and client sites is a must. Proficiency in technical reporting and documentation is also expected.Preferred qualifications for this position include a Bachelors/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Fire & Safety Engineering. Experience with PESO/UL certifications or relevant training would be advantageous. Familiarity with system design tools and project management software is a plus.This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits such as cell phone reimbursement, health insurance, and Provident Fund. The work schedule is day shift, Monday to Friday, with additional bonuses based on performance and yearly assessments.
