Job description

Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily toilets inspection using online e-form.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on buildings and equipment.
  • Respond to online request/feedback promptly and update request/feedback accordingly in platform
  • Inspect properties and identify issues requiring attention (e.g., plumbing, painting, carpentry).
  • Repair and install fixtures, handle plumbing tasks and carry out painting works and carpentry jobs.
  • Respond to internal stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements:

  • NTC3/Nitec in electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience with strong technical knowledge.
  • Able to read electrical wiring, control diagrams and drawings.
  • Able to troubleshoot electrical faults and system.
  • Basic knowledge in air-conditioning including troubleshooting.
  • Prior plumbing and fire protection knowledge will be an added advantage.
  • Outgoing personality with strong communication and people management skills.
  • Must be comfortable to work night shifts, and roster basis (5 days work week)
  • Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends/public holidays may be required
  • Comfortable to work from height; job requires to climb a 12 metres lamp pole to carry out lighting refocusing and replacement of blown lighting where required.
