Job summary

Singapore Post Limited is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to oversee sorting infrastructure maintenance and improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include conducting detailed health checks, managing RCA and FMEA processes, and liaising with vendors to implement productivity enhancements. Ideal candidates will have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience and a diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of practical experience in operation/production and/or facilities maintenance.
• Possess Singapore Class 3 driving license.
• Possess WAH or safety certificates (advantage).

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support and maintenance of sorting infrastructure.
• Perform detailed system health checks to identify areas for early maintenance.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).

Specialist in all sorting equipment including Electrical, Mechanical and Server components.
In charge of advanced level preventive maintenance such as detailed machine health checks and follow up action plan.

Job Description

• Provides engineering support and maintenance of all sorting infrastructure in SingPost

• Perform detailed system health checks to identify areas for early maintenance or replacement

• Identify areas for improvement to the sorting infrastructure and make recommendations for change

• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for various defects and machine faults

• Perform Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)

• Liaise with vendors to troubleshoot, test, install and implement new equipment for quality, safety and productivity improvement projects

• Any other work tasks assigned by the Team Leader (IC)

• Feedback to Engineering Manager on work and equipment status on a regular basis

Requirement

• 3 to 5 years of practical experience in operation/production and/or facilities maintenance environment

• Knowledge of sorting equipment, material handling system or automation equipment will be an advantage

• Experience in Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)

• Experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA, Fishbone, 5 whys etc.)

• Good fundamentals in maintenance methodology

• Possess Singapore Class 3 driving license

• Possess any WAH or safety certificates will be an advantage

• Able to work independently and as a team

• Monday - Thursday: 0800H - 1730H | Friday: 0800H - 1700H

Monday - Thursday: 0800H - 1730H | Friday: 2200H - 0700H

**ad hoc operational support and weekends duties if required

• Reporting to Singpost Regional Ecommerce Logistic Hub (37 Greenwich Drive).

Rotating external equipment support duties with the team.

Must be willing to travel between locations when required (Logistic Hub/ SingPost Centre/ ATC).
