Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an Electro-mechanical assembler to build, repair and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies.

You will follow work orders, schematics and wiring diagrams, perform troubleshooting and identify errors to ensure quality and safety. Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred; internship or academic background considered. Shuttle bus available with AM/PM/Graveyard shifts and shift allowances.

Qualifications

• Follows work orders, schematics and wiring diagrams to assemble/test components.
• Performs electro-mechanical assembly, troubleshooting and repair.
• Identifies and corrects errors to maintain quality.

Responsibilities

• Build/repair/test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies using provided diagrams and parts lists.
• Perform troubleshooting and repair of assemblies and subassemblies.
• Identify and correct errors in processes and components.
• Observe safety standards and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Attend health and safety training and follow policies.
• Report accidents or hazards to supervisor or Safety dept.
• Use testing fixtures and measurement equipment to verify assemblies.

About the role

Utilizes routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists, written and/or verbal instructions to build, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies and components. Performs electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair.

Key responsibilities

• Build, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies and components using work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair
• Identify and correct errors
• Observe all safety standards and maintain a secure, safe, clean and healthy work environment
• Attend required health and safety training and follow safety and security policies, procedures and practices
• Promptly report accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisor or Safety dept
• Utilize test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps to test assemblies, subassemblies and components
• Enter data on computer terminal, such as progress, work expense and labor details
• Perform computer programming, repair or software installs
• Detail finished work, receive parts and perform audits to ensure all necessary parts are available
• Inspect parts for defects and troubleshoot and improve processes

About you

• Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Relevant experience would be advantageous
• Relevant internship / academic background would be considered

Work Arrangements (shuttle bus available)

• AM Shift (7AM to 4,30PM)
• PM Shift (4PM to 1.30AM) - $25/shift allowance
• Graveyard Shift (11.30PM to 9AM) - $40/shift allowance
• Mon - Fri / Tues - Sat / Sun - Thurs (shift patterns available)
