A leading engineering firm in Singapore is looking for a qualified technician to assist in District Cooling Plants' Operations & Maintenance. The role requires a Higher NITEC/NITEC in Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant chiller operations experience. Job description

1 Pax - Tengah (12 hours rotating shift: 4 days work, 4 days off)

1 Pax - Roam Labrador/ Tampines/ Science Park - Transport claims available (Alternate weeks of morning and evening shift)

Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of District Cooling Plants' Operations & Maintenance works
• Attend daily toolbox and work meeting conducted by Engineer and Supervisor.
• Plan, schedule, execute and supervise contractors on the daily routine and non-routine O&M works and troubleshooting, as assigned
• Carry out daily walk-through plant inspection.
• Upkeep maintenance records, work area and tools
• Assist the Engineers in the sourcing and purchasing of spare parts
• Promptly investigate and report equipment defects, deficiencies, and abnormalities
• May be assigned to support district cooling works at other project locations after necessary training and to work independently where required (e.g. 1 staff per shift)
• Perform any assignment/activity/work related to the role

Requirements

• Higher NITEC / NITEC in any Engineering from a recognized educational institute
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in chiller-related hands on operations and maintenance
• Must be able to shift duties – 12 hour shift or other shift pattern as per project requirement
• Good analytical and communication skills with positive attitude
• Willing to learn attitude with strong team player
