Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking a Technician for our Advanced Structures team in Singapore. You will perform inspection, composite and mechanical repair and assembly work on aircraft structural components.

The role requires a Diploma/Nitec in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering, familiarity with blue prints and repair instructions, and a hands-on, safety-conscious approach. Onsite work with our local team offers growth and learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Nitec in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
• Understanding of blue prints, repair instructions & sketches.
• CAAS A12, B11 & L12 papers would be advantageous.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and document defects in Inspection Repair Records (IRR).
• Mechanical repair and assembly of aircraft structural components.
• Part forming and part replacement work.
• Final inspect completed repair task for service readiness.
• Maintain safe 5S workplace and follow PPE requirements.

Responsibilities:

The Technician will perform inspection, composite & mechanical repair & assembly work of aircraft structural component.

They will learn to perform the following:

• Inspect and document defects accurately in Inspection Repair Records (IRR)

• Mechanical Repair

• Part Forming

• Part Replacement Work

• Assembly and Disassembly Work

• Final inspect completed repair task, ensuring it is serviceable and ready for release to service

They will also be responsible for:

• Using Alignment Jig / ASMJ for Repair Work

• Carrying out repair work according to repair scheme / routing

• Clear routing upon job completion

• Produce good quality repair work

• Ensure understanding of personal PPE and a safe environment with 5S on workshop

Requirements:

• Diploma/Nitec in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering

• Understanding of blue prints, repair instructions & sketches Possess CAAS A12, B11 & L12 papers would be advantageous Able to work independently and meet deadlines

• A team player with a positive working attitude and keen interest to learn
