Job summary

GMP Technologies is seeking a maintenance-focused candidate to service and troubleshoot material handling equipment at the Airfreight Terminals in Singapore. You will work with forklifts, tractors, and related systems, ensuring continuous operations even during equipment issues.

The role requires basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office, with preference given to those who have warehouse equipment handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain material handling equipment, forklifts, tractors, equipment and various systems at the Airfreight Terminals.
• Troubleshooting and basic repair work; work with vendors.
• Ensure operations are not disrupted due to equipment breakdown within the warehouse.
• Experience in warehouse equipment handling and maintenance preferred.
• Possess basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Job description

• Work Week & Shift: 6 days, rotating shift

Job Responsibilities:

• You will be part of a team responsible for the maintenance of material handling equipment, forklifts,


• tractors, equipment and various systems at the Airfreight Terminals.


• You will perform trouble shooting functions and undertake basic repair work. Working jointly with our vendors.


• you will assist to ensure that operations are not disrupted due to breakdown of the equipment within thewarehouse.


• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in warehouse equipment handlingand maintenance


• Possess basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office


• Able to work in harsh environments such as cold rooms, high humidity, wet conditions and steamy environment and also able to work at high ground


• Can work on rotating shifts or weekends, if required

Compensation

• Shift allowance on average $240 and OT.


• Staff transport will be provided for candidates working beyond midnight.
