Job summary

Borr Drilling is seeking fitters for its packaging department. Responsibilities include assisting with mechanical maintenance, ensuring a clean production area, and upholding safety standards. Candidates should have fitting and welding skills and be able to work in rotational shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to assist with maintenance tasks in packaging, specifically for machines.
• Familiarity with electro-pneumatic systems.

Job description

1. For All Line Equipment

A. To perform CILT according to Area CLIT Standards.

• Please ensure the area is safe before working.
• Please ensure that the machine is off and LOTO is done before entering the machine.
• Please wear appropriate PPE for the job.

B. Perform basic preventive maintenance to prevent equipment breakdowns and/or stoppages.

C. Other ad hoc preventive maintenance tasks assigned by Line Leader and Team Leader.

D. Ensure general safety:

• No wandering around other areas.
• Appropriate PPE should be worn at all times.
• Reporting of accidents, incidents & near misses.
• Only conduct activities that you have been authorized, trained for, and confident in.

E. Always maintain the production floor clean.

F. Always maintain well on changeover parts.

2. Fitters for Packaging Department:

Each fitter must be able and qualified to:

• Assist the mechanical maintenance team and packaging department with maintenance tasks such as maintaining electro-pneumatic systems, fitting and welding skills, overhauling machinery, electrical wiring, motor and pump servicing, and machine tooling.

3. Job scope (For Brewhouse):

• Inspect and carry out routine maintenance to ensure smooth operation of equipment at the brewing production area.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Brewhouse process area (free of chemicals and solutions) at the caustic room to HORAP area.

4. Work hours:

• Able to work shift hours (rotational shift of day and night).
