Job summary

CABLE CARE PTE. LTD. is seeking a field technician to install, test and commission cable systems, including voice/data and fiber optics, at client sites in Singapore. You will prepare pathways, assist with tools and materials, and support co-workers with routine maintenance.

This role requires good communication, teamwork and flexibility for overtime and night shifts when jobs demand. Safety standards must be followed and quality work delivered.

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC (Electrical Engineering/Electrical Technology/Built Environment) or work- related experience.
• Good communication & team work skills.
• Flexibility & willingness to work overtime and night shifts occasionally (as jobs require)

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, test & commission cable systems (voice/data/fiber optics).
• Prepare/install cable pathways & supports where needed.
• Assist in the preparation of tools & materials used for daily work assignments.
• Troubleshoot cabling system issues & perform repairs & maintenance.
• Assist co-workers with installation & routine maintenance of structured cabling systems.
• Ensure quality, health & safety standards & report issues, if any.
