Job summary

A manufacturing company in Singapore is looking for a Mechanical Technician. You will operate lathe, cutting, drilling, and welding machines to fabricate parts for production. Candidates should have at least ITE/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and proactive interpersonal skills. This position requires troubleshooting mechanical issues and conducting repairs. The role involves a 5-day work week and is located near Joo Koon MRT.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. To operate Lathe, cutting machine, drilling machine and welding machine to fabricate machine parts, and install onto Production machines.

2. To resolve and provide feasible solutions for mechanical issues on production machines and equipment.

3. To involve in repair and maintenance on common facilities and equipment

4. To take corrective actions to findings of EHS inspection and other inspections / audits.

5. To carry out other task assigned by management as and when required.

Qualifications / Experience

1. ITE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

2. Fresh / Min. 1 -2 years hands-on related experience

3. Able to fabricate mechanical parts by using cutting machine, drilling machine and welding machine

4. Proactive and good interpersonal skills

5. Independent and with initiative
