We’re looking to add an Technician in our HQ at Ang Mo Kio.

As a Technician, you will:

• Identify and manage process improvements relating to product quality, cost, cycle time and manufacturing line efficiencies.
• Assist in product transfer.
• Conduct training for the Production Associates.
• Be a team PLAYER to process and production team.
• Ensure readiness for both NPI and Mass production.
• Perform troubleshooting and failure analysis for production fallouts.
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintenance of machine/equipment/tool/jig.
• Assist Test Engineer on test equipment and set-up for NPI (New Project Introduction) and assist in daily tasks.
• Ensure compliance to the quality standards, company guidelines & procedures are adhered to whilst providing necessary support to production.
• Compile Test Yield Report.
• Constantly look into better test efficiencies to improve the test yield.
• Perform rework and repair of printed circuit board assemblies (through hole and SMT parts) according to IPC standards.
• Provide feedback on unusual high fallout to Test Engineer.

Authority:

• Provide training to Production Associates.
• Deliver agreed production objectives according to the planned production schedule.

What skills and experiences are we looking for:

• Diploma / NTC in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, preferably with 2-3 years relevant experience in a highly competitive product manufacturing environment.
