UCT is looking for a talented Technician to join us in Singapore!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform product functional/system test and leak test, identify errors and conduct rework if required
• Ensure full and efficient pass down to the next shift
• Escalate up for any unresolved problems or abnormalities for resolution
• Highlight any problems or abnormalities in production floor
• Perform housekeeping, adhere to manufacturing discipline and cleanroom protocol
• Support other ad-hoc activities and tasking as assigned by the superior
• Initiate ideas to improve productivity, quality & safety
• Report and assist engineers in problem solving and troubleshooting
• Train and guide newcomers (Buddy System)
• Analyse any problems or abnormalities in production floor
• Support engineering tasking as assigned by the superior / manufacturing engineer
• Diagnose modules and system error and problem
• Perform system endurance test
• Manage and co-operate with QA on any quality issues
• Demonstrated ability to perform Test Tech Technical Specialist roles

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Basic computer literacy
• A role model and Good Teamwork
• Possess hands-on experience in equipment manufacturing and troubleshooting
• Competent in analytical problem solving and statistical tools
• Ability to work in a systematic manner and can withstand occasional workload & schedule pressure
• Independent, self-driven, and able to work with less supervision

Educational/Certification Requirement

• NITEC / Higher NITEC/ Professional Certificate or its equivalent
• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Engineering

Experience Requirement

• Able to comprehend electrical / mechanical drawings
• Willing to commit to the shift pattern and OT if required
• Able to carry heavy loads (up to 20Kg)
• Must be willing to work in the cleanroom environment: wearing jumpsuits, safety helmet and safety shoes
• Must be willing to work shift work
• Responsible, Self-motivated, Committed and Good interpersonal skills

Work Experience

• At least 3 years relevant experience in manufacturing/engineering industry

Clean room

Work Hours

08:30am – 05:30pm / 08:30pm – 05:30am

Physical Demands: able to carry some weight (up to 20kg) – due to need to push the machines or carry the material parts to the station

Environmental Exposure: Capital equipment manufacturing with sophisticated system integration & testing
