· Able to work in rotating 3 shifts.

Technician

• Operations and Maintenance of the Baggage Handling System (BHS) in Singapore Changi Airport.
• Respond quickly to faults and obstructions at BHS system.
• Perform daily inspections of BHS system.
• Perform electrical and mechanical servicing during off-peak hours.
• Perform regular and planned service tasks during off-peak hours.
• Perform shift work.
• Support colleagues to cover their duties and perform overtime as required.
• Assist shift engineers when tasks are assigned.

Technical Officer

• Report to Shift Engineer on all system-related issues.
• Ensure that the system operates normally.
• Monitor the system for faults and issues affecting baggage flow.
• Oversee technicians in their duties.
• Ensure prompt response to faults by dispatching technicians immediately.
• Ensure prompt diversion of baggage during breakdowns to maintain flow.
• Provide timely updates and reports on system status and faults to the Shift Engineer.
• Ensure proper dispatch of personnel for breakdown recovery.
• Ensure completion of the Preventive Maintenance (PM) Schedule as planned.
• Support system troubleshooting and updates alongside the Shift Engineer.
• Assist management with report submissions.

Minimum Qualifications

• ITE or Diploma or relevant study background.
• Willing to be deployed to other functions at short notice.
• Experience in BHS and electrical background is advantageous.
• Applicants must be able to obtain an airport pass, which will be screened by the Airport Police Division.
