Job summary

A leading resort in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of facilities. The role involves preventive maintenance, equipment servicing, and collaboration with a team to address various engineering matters. Candidates should possess a NITEC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have relevant experience in the maintenance field.

Qualifications

• 1 year’s experience in Maintenance and Engineering related industry.
• Knowledge in various systems (ACMV, Plumbing, Fire Fighting).
• Able to work 3 rotating shifts including Sundays and Public Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations and ensure no defects in various areas.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and servicing of equipment.
• Report outstanding tasks and attend to breakdowns.

Job description

Job Descriptions:

• To work independently with a team of technicians to run daily operations

• Ensure no defects and equipment malfunction in Suites, Rooms, Function Rooms. Kitchen, Restaurant & Public Area to ensure Guest comfort.

• Carry out work tasks raised by various Departments and ensuring all Maintenance Work Order are completed promptly.

• Carry out Preventive Maintenance works for Rooms & Function Room as per scheduled.

• Carry out servicing of Air Conditioners for Guest Rooms, Function Rooms, Restaurant, Kitchens & Public Area.

• To provide support and solutions for M&E matters.

• Follow up repairs all maintenance defects assigned by Duty Engineer.

• Update and refer major breakdowns in equipment or facilities to the Duty Engineer.

• Attend to any breakdown for Guest rooms, Staff areas and Public areas.

• Attend to all Out of Order room defects reported by other Housekeeping and Front Office.

• Report all outstanding task by end of shift and hand over to next shift.

• Ad hoc projects assigned by the Assistant/Chief Engineer.

Requirements

• NITEC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (if any).

• 1 year’s experience in Maintenance and Engineering related industry.

• Knowledge in ACMV System, Hot/Cold Water System, Fire Fighting System, Plumbing System, Chiller System, BMS System (if any).

• Knowledge in Electrical & Mechanical installation.

• Knowledge in Masonry, Carpentry, Building & Deco’s will be an added advantage.

• Knowledge in Analog, Digital & IP Phone system, IT & Wi-Fi system will be an added advantage.

• Good general knowledge and strong problem solving skills (if any).

• Able to do 3 rotating Shift including Sun & PH.
