Job summary

LINDE MATERIAL HANDLING ASIA PACIFIC PTE LTD is seeking a capable Training Specialist to plan, organize, and deliver comprehensive technical training for technicians. You will maintain facilities, support field service teams, and ensure ESH compliance while coordinating readiness for new forklift releases.

The role requires a diploma in engineering, at least two years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel occasionally.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to travel occasionally.
• Willing to work at Loyang Way area.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver technical training programs for technicians across engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, batteries, and fleet management.
• Establish and maintain training facilities, equipment, and learning aids for hands-on learning.
• Provide advanced technical support and conduct customer visits to resolve complex issues.
• Coordinate readiness for new forklift and equipment releases, including software, tools, and training schedules.
• Manage training activities relating to Environmental, Safety and Health (ESH) requirements.
• Plan site surveys for Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) and heavy equipment installations.
• Develop engaging training materials, presentations, videos, and documentation.
• Conduct technical competency assessments for Field Service Technicians and Team Leaders.
• Develop and manage training plans for FSTs and Team Leaders.
• Support technician development through coaching and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Monitor completion of Field Service Accreditation and Learning (FSAL).
• Maintain training records in SARA, including warranty and service logs.
• Deliver technical updates during monthly service team meetings.
• Evaluate external vendor technical support performances.
• Develop and maintain PM and PDI procedures and checklists.
• Support FSTs, Coordinators, and CS Executives with spare parts needs.
• Provide feedback and quality escalations for complex issues via reporting channels.
• Advise on tooling, software needs, and technical equipment requirements.
• Ensure ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance and internal safety/audit requirements.
