Job summary

The National University of Singapore's Centre for Sleep and Cognition seeks a Tech Support Specialist to support wearable devices, mobile apps, and EEG-related research.

You will monitor data streams, inform teams of data quality issues, assist with procurement and inventory, and train project teams in online monitoring within a multidisciplinary environment. Kent Ridge Campus, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any scientific discipline.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
• Able to converse fluently in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
• Able to work as part of a team, multi-task and pay attention to detail.
• Prior experience/interest in consumer wearable devices is a plus, but on-the-job training will be provided.

Job Description

The Centre for Sleep and Cognition studies the effects of sleep and sleep deprivation on cognition using electroencephalography (EEG) techniques, wearable devices and smartphones as well as questionnaires and computer-based behavioural tests. The Tech Support Specialist will join a dynamic and multidisciplinary team conducting translational research with important implications for health and wellness.
