Job summary

Pasona Singapore Pte. Ltd. invites mechanical and mechatronics engineers to join our multinational engineering team in Singapore.

The role focuses on mechanical design and application engineering for factory automation, turning customer needs into robust, productive solutions. You will review drawings, perform load and safety factor calculations, select guides, screws, actuators and bearings, and coordinate with suppliers or overseas teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics or equivalent.
• Experience in Mechanical Design / Application Engineering in factory automation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Inventor.

Responsibilities

• Review customer machine and assembly drawings, operating conditions and technical requirements.
• Perform load, speed, torque, service-life and safety-factor calculations.
• Select and size linear guides, ball screws, actuators, motors, cylinders, couplings, bearings, timing belts and positioning mechanisms.
• Assess feasibility, compatibility, application risk and component integration.
• Propose suitable alternative products or design approaches.
• Attend customer visits and coordinate with suppliers or overseas technical teams to resolve enquiries.
• Develop technical references and training materials.
