Requirements:

• Higher NITEC/Diploma in Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, or Molecular Biotechnology, with expertise in Microbiology or Molecular Biology techniques.
• Open to fresh graduates or those with up to one year of laboratory technician experience.
• Strong communication skills and a flexible working attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Assist teaching staff in school laboratories and provide support during demonstrations and trial runs for practical classes.
• Oversee daily lab operations, including equipment maintenance, cleaning, and preparation of solutions and materials.
• Manage laboratory inventory, stock control, and prepare replacement lists; handle lab requests and procurement.
• Coordinate chemical and biohazard waste disposal with the Central Service team.
• Support WSH and QEHS audits, inspections, and ensure laboratory compliance with safety guidelines.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.
