Job Description:

Our client, a Japanese leading company in the field of Abatement, VOC devices, and scrubber systems, is looking for a Technical Support specialist who can start working immediately.

  1. Support site managers and team members with technical issues related to scrubbers.
  2. Communicate with Japan for issues beyond your knowledge and relay solutions to the site.
  3. Visit sites for PM/CM jobs, troubleshooting, or other ad-hoc tasks such as meetings with customers.
  4. Assist with CMS/SCADA systems, or complete jobs independently, collaborating with third-party vendors if necessary.
  5. Understand basic CX-programmer knowledge for downloading, uploading, and verifying PLC programs.
  6. Understand basic GP-Pro EX knowledge for managing touch panel programs.
  7. Assist with Gas DRE testing, including tool purchasing, instrument management, and communication with vendors.
  8. Manage claim reports issued by site managers and follow up on cases.
  9. Facilitate communication between site managers and the TS Department.
  10. Gather site information and respond to TS Department inquiries.
  11. Keep records of claim parts shipments and check parts codes with Japan.
  12. Create DRE reports, including DRE rate calculations.
  13. Address risk assessments and safety issues, investigate onsite accidents, and implement corrective measures.
  14. Organize activities to promote WSH awareness.
  15. Prepare daily and weekly reports.
  16. Translate documents and emails, and interpret for meetings, training, or company activities.
  17. Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
Job Requirements:
  1. Proficient in Japanese (written and spoken) to liaise with Japanese HQ.
  2. Mandarin speaking ability to communicate with clients in Mandarin-speaking countries.
  3. Minimum diploma in Engineering.
  4. Strong technical problem-solving skills and ability to propose and negotiate service contracts.
  5. Experience in Semiconductor Fab and Service Audit is advantageous.
  6. Good understanding of semiconductor facilities and processes is advantageous.
  7. Willing to travel daily to various sites.
  8. Self-driven, energetic, resourceful, with good leadership qualities.
  9. Meticulous in documentation and timely in updates.
  10. Present a strong, positive image of self and the company.
  11. Team player with good communication skills.
  12. Responsible, independent, with excellent customer service skills.
