Job summary

Dronesense.ai Innovation Pte. Limited is seeking a motivated Technical Support Intern to join its Counter-UAS team. You will assist in testing, troubleshooting, assembling, and maintaining system hardware and software before and after deployment.

You will accompany field engineers on site surveys, live flight demonstrations, and assist in data collection and logging during field trials.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communications, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or Robotics.
• Fundamentals: RF, wireless communications, IP networking (TCP/UDP, LAN setup), and basic electronic circuits.
• Strong curiosity, eager to learn about drone mitigation, radar, and RF technologies; good analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Technical Support & Troubleshooting: reproduce client issues and draft SOPs and guides.
• Field & Demonstration Support: accompany field engineers on site surveys, setups, and live flight demonstrations; assist data collection and logging.

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated Technical Support Intern to join our Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS / Anti-Drone) team. This internship offers hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge defense and security technologies, including RF detection, radar systems, electro‑optical (EO/IR) trackers, and signal jammers.

Under the guidance of senior field and support engineers, you will assist in testing, troubleshooting, assembling, and maintaining system hardware and software before and after deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support & Troubleshooting Assistance

• - Help reproduce client-reported technical issues.
• - Draft step‑by‑step troubleshooting articles, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user quick‑reference guides.

2. Field & Demonstration Support

• - Accompany field engineers on site surveys, system setups, and live flight test demonstrations.
• - Support data collection and log recording during field trials and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).

Qualifications & Requirements:

Eligible Backgrounds:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communications, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or Robotics.

Technical skills & Basic Knowledge:

Fundamentals: Basic understanding of RF (Radio Frequency), wireless communications, IP networking (TCP/UDP, LAN setup), and basic electronic circuits.

Soft Skills & Mindset:

• - Strong curiosity and eager to learn about drone mitigation, radar, and RF technologies.
• - Good analytical thinking and structured problem‑solving skills.
• - Clear written and verbal communication skills.
