Technical Support Chemist [ Laboratory / Process Plant ]

Technical Support Chemist

5 days (Mon-Fri)

Location: Tuas (Company Transport Provided)

Basic Salary: $3200 - $3600

Responsibilities:

Supervise waste unloading, segregation, and weighbridge operations to ensure efficient processing.

Review workflows and SOPs regularly; recommend and implement process improvements.

Conduct daily plant inspections, enforcing 5S, TPM, safety, and maintenance standards.

Verify waste streams for treatment compatibility and ensure safe handling procedures.

Coordinate with teams to resolve discrepancies and update SOPs or work instructions.

Evaluate and propose new methods for handling complex or unknown waste streams.

Enforce EHS protocols, lead safety briefings, and coordinate emergency drills.

Analyze plant cost, productivity, and quality reports; follow up on corrective actions.
