Job summary

Careersource Consultancy Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on Technical Support Assistant to help maintain inventory, repair yard and workshop tools, and support operations with minimal supervision. You will use inventory software and MS Office, hold a relevant technical certification, and possess a Class 3 driving license.

Overtime, dinner allowances, and a monthly laundry allowance are provided. This one-year renewable contract offers practical exposure in yard and workshop environments with

Qualifications

• Must hold a relevant technical certification in maintenance or a related field.
• Valid Class 3 driving license required for vehicle operation.
• Forklift license is advantageous for yard/warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular checks in the inventory software to verify accuracy and availability.
• Perform routine repairs and maintenance on yard and workshop tools and equipment.
• Maintain the tool room using 5S principles and keep housekeeping high.
• Navigate inventory systems and MS Office to support inventory and maintenance tasks.
• Operate company vehicles with a valid Class 3 license in support of operations.
• Work independently with minimal supervision to complete tasks efficiently.
• Be prepared to work overtime, including weekends, to meet operational needs.

Technical Support Assistant

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular checks in the inventory software system to verify inventory accuracy and availability
• Perform routine repairs and maintenance on yard and workshop tools and equipment to ensure operational readiness
• Maintain the tool room by implementing 5S initiatives and upholding good housekeeping standards
• Navigate inventory systems and Microsoft Office suite to support inventory and maintenance tasks
• Drive company vehicles safely using a Class 3 driving license to support operational needs
• Work independently with minimal supervision to complete assigned tasks efficiently
• Work overtime, including weekends, as required to meet operational demands

Required competencies and certifications

• Hold a relevant technical certification to perform maintenance and repair tasks
• Possess a valid Class 3 driving license for vehicle operation

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Forklift driving license (advantageous for supporting yard operations)
• Basic technical knowledge of tooling and vehicle maintenance to assist with repairs and upkeep
