Job summary

Recruit Expert Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a seasoned LNG vessel Chief Engineer/Technical Superintendent to lead technical operations, maintenance and reliability of LNG bunkering vessels and carriers.

The role covers PMS, repairs, dry-docking, class/statutory surveys and coordinating with crews, class, shipyards and equipment makers to ensure operational readiness and regulatory compliance.

Requires a marine engineering degree and relevant CoC; minimum 5 years seagoing LNG carrier experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture or equivalent.
• Chief Engineer CoC preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of seagoing LNG carrier experience, with roles as Chief Engineer and/or LNG Technical Superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of technical operations, maintenance and reliability of LNG bunkering vessels/carriers.
• Oversee PMS, repairs, dry-docking, class/statutory surveys, and technical budgets.

Education

Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture or equivalent

Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency (CoC) preferred

Job description

• Take charge of the technical operations, maintenance and reliability of assigned LNG bunkering vessels / LNG carriers, including machinery, dual-fuel engines and LNG cargo systems.
• Be responsible for PMS, repairs, dry-docking, class/statutory surveys, technical budgets and troubleshooting to maintain vessel reliability and operational readiness.
• Coordinate with vessel crews, Class, Flag, shipyards, equipment makers and other stakeholders on technical issues, repairs and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture or equivalent
• Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency (CoC) is preferred.
• At least 5 years of seagoing experience on LNG carriers, with experience as a Chief Engineer and/or LNG Technical Superintendent.
