Angle Recruitment is seeking a Technical Superintendent (ship to shore acceptable) for our esteemed client, a leading company in the maritime industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technical management and operational performance of a fleet of Bunker vessels. Key Responsibilities:
Technical Management: Ensure the vessels are maintained in optimal condition and comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
Operational Oversight: Monitor and manage the day-to-day operations of the vessels, ensuring maximum efficiency and safety.
Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance schedules, including planned maintenance systems.
Budget Control: Prepare and manage budgets for vessel operations and maintenance.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all vessels comply with safety and environmental regulations.
Team Coordination: Liaise with crew members, shore-based staff, and external contractors to coordinate repairs, inspections, and maintenance.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports on vessel performance, maintenance activities, and compliance.
Requirements:
Experience: Experience in a technical superintendent role is preferred, ship to shore candidates will also be considered. Must have sailed as a COC1 or COC2 on tankers.
Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of vessel maintenance, repair, and regulatory requirements.
Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in maintenance management systems.
