Job summary

Maxwell Ship Management is looking for a qualified and experienced Technical Superintendent to join our team. The role oversees the technical operations of assigned tanker vessels, managing maintenance, surveys, and docking activities.

Responsibilities include maintaining class records, coordinating with Classification Societies, and ensuring ISM/ISPS/MLC compliance. The position involves vessel inspections, reporting, and assisting the Safety Department with investigations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years sea-going experience as Chief Engineer onboard tanker vessels.
• Shore experience as Technical Superintendent will be an added advantage.
• Holding valid Class 1 Certificate of Competency (COC).
• Strong troubleshooting, technical problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Independent, resourceful, and able to work under pressure.
• Willing to travel overseas on short notice when required.
