Job summary

Go-Ahead Singapore is seeking a proactive Vehicle Technician to maintain and repair company fleet in Singapore. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Shift work and a valid Class 3/3A license are essential for this role. Entry level candidates are welcome, with senior positions for more experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent required.
• Experience in automotive or engineering environment advantageous.
• Entry level candidates may apply.
• Senior role for more experienced candidates.
• Valid Class 3/3A driving license required.
• Able to perform shift work.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on company vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles to ensure reliability and regulatory compliance.
• Carry out corrective maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Be prepared to work hours needed to achieve Peak Vehicle Requirement.
• Follow health and safety policies with proper documentation.
• Drive bus under maintenance or replacement bus if required.

Job Roles

• Ensure all maintenance work performed adhere strictly to standards established by the company and any legal requirements.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance work on company vehicle.
• Conduct regular inspections on company vehicles to ensure reliability and to pass regulatory inspections and audits.
• Carry out corrective maintenance and repairs on vehicles to minimize downtime.
• Prepared to work the hours necessary to complete all tasks required to achieve Peak Vehicle Requirement (PVR).
• Ensure strict adherence to all workplace Health & Safety policies, legal and company regulations, with proper documentation and storage.
• Practice safe work procedures and safety rules implemented at the workplace.
• Not to engage in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger self or others.
• Any ad-hoc assignments which may include driving bus under maintenance / replacement bus if required

Job Requirements

• Candidates must possess NITEC or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Prior experience in automotive or engineering environment would be advantageous.
• Entry level candidates may apply.
• Candidates with more experience will be considered for senior technical specialist role.
• Candidates to have a valid Class 3/3A driving license.
• Able to perform shift work.
