About The Role

The Technical Solutions Architect role is a highly skilled, customer-focused technical sales professional who provides in-depth technical information and specific design/implementation guidance to a dedicated customer. The role offers an advanced architectural perspective across the Cisco product portfolio, demonstrating knowledge of software and services, and collaborating with the sales ecosystem on strategic opportunities. The architect acts as a trusted technical advisor, identifying Cisco solution opportunities aligned with the customer's business goals, especially in the BFSI sector.

What You Will Do

The India Enterprise Segment covers top accounts in various industries including Financial Services, Retail, Logistics, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, and Conglomerates. You will be part of the Enterprise Solutions Engineering team, designing and implementing communication and application delivery strategies for leading Indian companies.

You will collaborate with the Enterprise Solutions Engineering Team to design and empower next-generation communication solutions, working within a dynamic, high-impact sales environment that offers global growth opportunities.

  • People Leader: Passionate about developing teams and building customer relationships. Acts as a sponsor, mentor, and coach.
  • Solution Sales Leader: Understands solution and architecture selling, sales strategies, and aligns teams to achieve goals.
  • Technical Leader: Serves as a technical advisor to customer executives, maintains strong knowledge of Cisco's technology portfolio, and articulates value effectively.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent
  • 15+ years of technical sales experience as a Systems Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar role
  • Advanced knowledge in Networking, Security, Datacenter/Cloud, and Observability
  • Proven relationship-building skills and goal-oriented performance
  • Ability to formulate and communicate solutions/vision
  • Experience with large Financial Services clients
  • CCIE certification preferred
