A major telecommunications firm in Singapore seeks a technical SAP specialist to contribute to SAP solutions strategy and lead project delivery. The ideal candidate possesses 6+ years of experience in SAP ABAP/FIORI/HANA development, along with strong team management skills. Domain Ownership: Contribute to the overall SAP solutions strategy, including ABAP development, basis, portal, authorization, and integration (SAP and non-SAP) within the Singtel group (Singtel / NCS / Optus). The candidate should have the capability to adopt new technologies like iValua and CCH Tagetik.
The candidate must possess the vision and hands-on experience to formalize, standardize, govern, and evolve design standards across SAP and non-SAP technologies to deliver efficient, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.
The candidate is expected to define and enforce development standards, basis administration policies, authorization setups, governance, portal, interface standards, and integration policies, along with evaluating the fit of common COTS applications.
Supporting multiple SAP and non-SAP teams, the candidate plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of best-fit technical solutions.
Project Delivery: Responsible for designing and delivering SAP technical solutions within the Singtel group. Review technical requirements and ensure timely, defect-free project execution.
Team Management: Manage a global Application Managed Support team, ensuring efficient collaboration between inhouse and outsource teams.
Operational Excellence: Ensure timely delivery of SAP development, authorization, and integration changes within SLAs. Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
