This leadership role is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, profitability, and exceptional service delivery across both markets.

Essential Functions

  • Oversee daily operations and manage P&L for the Technical Services departments in Singapore and Malaysia.

  • Lead and mentor an extended team of managers, engineers, and technicians to drive operational efficiency, service excellence, and technical competency .

  • Develop and execute strategic plans and departmental goals aligned with regional objectives.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cost efficiency and customer satisfaction.

  • Identify growth opportunities and implement strategies to expand service revenue and profitability.

  • Ensuring that all medical devices are properly maintained, calibrated, and serviced to meet stringent regulatory standards and performance expectations.

  • Supporting healthcare providers by ensuring the reliability, safety, and optimal performance of our devices throughout their lifecycle.

  • Provide prompt and effective troubleshooting and emergency field service support as required.

  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations to identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.

  • Partner with relevant departments on strategic initiatives to increase ExpertCare adoption rates across the region.

  • Ensure compliance with documentation standards and local regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPMDS).


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of technical experience in the Medical Device or Biomedical Engineering industry

  • At least 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a similar technical role

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and engage with stakeholders at all levels

  • Strong background in on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage time effectively under pressure

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
