The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Technical Service Manager to lead our service operations across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region .

This pivotal role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in medical devices, aiming to enhance service excellence, drive operational efficiency, and support the growth of innovative healthcare technologies.

Role Overview

As the Technical Service Manager, APAC , you will oversee the regional technical service teams, ensuring high-quality support for critical life-saving medical device portfolio from cardiopulmonary, respiratory through to advanced medical software solutions.

Your leadership will be crucial in optimising service delivery, fostering customer satisfaction, and aligning technical operations with broader business objectives.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of technical service teams across the APAC region, ensuring high-quality support and performance.
  • Drive the development and execution of strategic initiatives aimed at improving service efficiency, reducing operational costs, and enhancing the customer experience.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders such as sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure service offerings meet evolving market demands.
  • Maintain adherence to relevant regional compliance and regulatory requirements, while ensuring thorough and accurate service recordkeeping.
  • Track and evaluate key operational metrics to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and guide process improvements.
  • Support the professional growth of team members by providing coaching, mentorship, and access to skill-building opportunities.
  • Oversee financial planning for the service function, ensuring responsible budgeting and optimal use of resources.
  • Be prepared to travel across APAC to provide on-site leadership, support local teams, and strengthen customer relationships.

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on technical experience within the medical device or healthcare technology sector.
  • A strong track record of leading teams, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide on-site technical assistance and resolve complex service issues.
  • Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational capabilities with a proven ability to handle competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulations and quality management systems.
  • Openness to regional travel throughout APAC to support service operations and team engagement.
