We are seeking a motivated, experienced sales professional for the role of Assistant Manager - Value-Added Industrial Sales. The role involves selling value-added SKUs through consultative selling, including our private label range: CarbonMax, GraphiMax, MagMax, and other value-added products. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, a solid sales background, and technical knowledge of industrial products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the company's growth, especially in the additives & nodularisers category. Travel and accommodation are covered by NowPurchase.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct monthly trials for value-added products, including our private label range, to optimize costs and benefits.
  2. Plan and execute trials to reduce production costs or improve benefits, coordinating with foundries.
  3. Communicate with foundries to gather input, share findings, and suggest improvements.
  4. Collaborate with R&D to scale successful trials into production, providing raw materials from NowPurchase.
  5. Document and analyze trial results, providing reports and recommendations.
  6. Create cost-benefit analyses and demonstrate savings using MetalCloud software.
  7. Work with sales and business development to develop pricing strategies.
  8. Address quality complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
  9. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet targets.
  10. Maintain relationships with key clients and identify new business opportunities.
  11. Monitor sales data, analyze trends, and generate reports for improvement.
  12. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.
  13. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful trials and product positioning.
What Your Day Will Involve
  • Executing and analyzing over 20 trials monthly to optimize raw material use and costs.
  • Planning and executing process improvements in foundries.
  • Working with R&D to scale successful trials and documenting results.
  • Engaging with customers to support quality and technical needs, demonstrating cost savings.
