Job description

Our client, a leading European manufacturer in the water and energy metering industry, is currently seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Technical Sales Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and play a key role in supporting both sales initiatives and technical client engagement.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical services for the company's products and resolve technical queries from customers.
2. Drive sales growth by proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities for our advanced metering solutions.
3. Assist in pursuing sales leads, creating sales opportunities, and managing chat applications.
4. Liaise with the product manager and technical team to provide information on new applications and products to customers as required.
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with key system integrators and partners in the Building Management Systems (BMS) sector.
6. Serve as the first point of contact for technical queries, providing remote and on-site field support to resolve customer issues.

Requirements:

1. A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
2. At least 3 years of experience in industrial flow meters, water metering, smart meters, or thermal energy metering (preferred).
3. Proven experience working with system integrators and/or BMS companies is essential.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with technical and commercial stakeholders.
