Job summary

A leading company in the heavy industry is seeking a Sales Executive to identify and drive strategic partnerships while developing go-to-market strategies to meet revenue targets. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Engineering and have 1-2 years of relevant sales experience, with excellent interpersonal skills and a self-motivated attitude. Responsibilities include managing the sales cycle, offering technical support, and participating in marketing activities. A valid driving license and personal vehicle are required for this role.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years relevant sales or application experience preferably in the heavy industry.
  • Computer literate.
  • Possess class 2 or 3 driving license.
  • Possess own vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and drive strategic partnerships to develop new markets.

  • Provide product recommendations and technical support to customers.
  • Handle the sales cycle, including quotations, order confirmations, and deliveries.

  • Perform troubleshooting and maintenance works.
  • Travel to regional countries as needed.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Identify and drive strategic partnerships to develop new markets, services and key accounts within assigned markets

• Responsible for developing go-to-market sales strategy and tactics to achieve or exceed assigned revenue and profitability targets and grow customer base in assigned scope and geography

• Understand customer requirements, provide product recommendation/solution/ technical support to existing and prospective customers on relevant solutions that meet their needs

• Pre-sales activities to ensure healthy pipeline and good closure rate, with post-sales activities occasionally according to sales requirement

• Performance of sales cycle which includes sales quotation, order confirmation, purchase requisition, delivery (urgent case), installation (occasionally), payment collection

• Help with developing sales strategy, marketing plan, exhibitions and marketing activities

• Have a passion to carry out trouble-shooting and maintenance works

• Willing to do hands-on work, loves the satisfaction after solving difficult machines

• Traveling may be required to regional countries

Requirements:

• Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Engineering (Mechanical, Marine, Industrial, Oil & Gas) or any other related field discipline

• Minimum 1-2 years relevant sales or application experience preferably in the heavy industry

• Self-motivated, independent, aggressive, results-oriented, initiative & able to work under pressure and multi-tasking

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with pleasant disposition and armed with positive mind-set and good working attitude

• Computer Literate

• Possess class 2 or 3 driving license.

• Possess own vehicle
