Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and technically competent Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding our customer base, preparing technical quotations, and coordinating closely with internal teams to support customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in targeted industries (semiconductor, automotive, etc.).
  • Understand and interpret basic mechanical and electrical technical drawings to propose suitable solutions.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations, sales proposals, and purchase orders.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure alignment on customer specifications and project requirements.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and provide technical consultations.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.

Requirements:

Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant sales or technical support experience in semiconductor, automotive, or manufacturing industries.
Able to read and understand mechanical and electrical technical drawings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Sales-driven mindset with a proactive approach to customer engagement.
Proficient in MS Office and basic ERP/CRM systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Possess a valid driving license is an advantage.Preferred Attributes:

Knowledge of precision machining, sheet metal fabrication, or equipment assembly processes.
Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Multilingual abilities will be an added advantage (e.g., English and Mandarin) to liaise with regional clients.
