WSS is on the lookout for a driven and commercially minded Technical Sales & Business Development Manager to take the lead in growing our Tank & Hold Cleaning product segment. If you're passionate about sales, thrive in a technical environment, and enjoy building strong customer relationships – we want to hear from you.
What you’ll do:
Grow sales and profitability by developing existing accounts and winning new business.
Identify and chase new opportunities across the global maritime sector.
Own the sales pipeline – from prospecting to closing, including New Building (NBI) and Dry Dock (DD) projects.
Collaborate with Key Account Managers to align solutions with customer needs and sales strategy.
Become the expert – provide technical guidance, answer advanced queries, and help customers understand the full value of our products.
Strengthen relationships with regular face-to-face visits and multilevel account engagement.
Use data and CRM tools to track progress and ensure smooth execution and governance.
What you bring:
A background in marine engineering or sales – formal qualifications are great, but relevant experience matters more.
International technical sales experience is a strong plus.
Knowledge of the maritime industry – sailing experience or time spent in ship engine rooms? Even better.
A proven record of driving results and closing deals.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
