Technical & Design Promotion Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and implement proactive promotional activities for the assigned target audience to create market demand and need for specific features or products. Each day, you will identify and develop sales opportunities by introducing, presenting, and educating the target audience about ABB products and tools. You will also showcase your expertise by building long-term customer relationships.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid. This role contributes to the Electrification Smart Building Business Division in Singapore. Your main responsibilities include:

  1. Implementing proactive promotional activities, including technical presentations, demonstrations, seminars, educational materials, and technical development of projects and solutions for the customer target group.
  2. Creating plans for target audience visits and conducting regular status reviews, including analyzing and deriving insights and outputs from the visits.
  3. Establishing and maintaining effective long-term relationships with target group customers to understand their needs and ensure they are well-informed about ABB products, systems, services, features, and benefits.
  4. Ensuring efficient marketing activities and a strong value proposition to customers by using effective promotional techniques.
Qualifications for the role
  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of consultancy experience or related field
  • Good to have contacts within the consultancy sector; a background in consultancy will be an advantage
  • Strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following workplace safety guidelines
  • High level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies
  • Collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills
