Job description

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our network infrastructure team. In this role, you will manage critical milestones for our backbone infrastructure and ensure timely completion of capacity turn-up projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end capacity activations, including subsea integration, equipment installation, and terrestrial fiber extensions.
• Define tasks, identify interdependencies, and allocate resources for timely project delivery.
• Lead projects from requirements definition to deployment, developing schedules and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to maintain project scope and schedules.
• Communicate project outcomes and escalate issues as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5-10+ years of project management experience in the telecom infrastructure sector.
• Background in optical transmission, fiber networks, or service delivery in a carrier environment.
• Familiarity with submarine cables, Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing, routers, and related infrastructure concepts.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive with early escalation abilities.
• Certification (e.g., PMP) or proven project management expertise.
