Epergne is looking for Middleware Technical Project Manager.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor engineering teams in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure on GCP and AWS, ensuring high availability, performance, and cost optimization.
- Direct strategy and execution of Docker container orchestration using Kubernetes (CKA), including management of pods, ConfigMaps, services, and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters, applying best practices for load balancing, multi-namespaced environments, and production operations of Dockerized applications.
- Champion the deployment of integrated observability solutions (e.g., Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus) to monitor cloud infrastructure and applications, enabling proactive issue resolution and reducing MTTR.
- Lead L3 ITSM operations for critical middleware environments including WebSphere, MQ, IIB, and JBoss, ensuring system stability, performance, and compliance with SLAs.
- Spearhead the automation of Disaster Recovery (DR) procedures, reducing manual intervention by 20% and improving Recovery Time Objectives (RTO).
- Drive incident lifecycle management, conduct thorough Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement robust change governance processes for cloud and middleware operations.
- Collaborate with hardware/software vendors and internal stakeholders to evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure processes, disaster recovery plans, and capacity planning models.
- Partner with development teams to instill cloud-native design principles, focusing on high availability, fault tolerance, and operational efficiency.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks using Python and Bash scripting, continuously seeking process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in project management within cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and middleware operations.
- Strong technical expertise in GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools.
- Hands-on experience with middleware technologies such as WebSphere, MQ, IIB, and JBoss.
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for automation.
- Experience with ITSM frameworks, incident management, and disaster recovery planning.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
