Job summary

Applied Materials South East Asia is seeking a Project Manager to drive planning, execution and delivery of cross‑functional initiatives in Singapore.

You will coordinate project plans, manage deliverables from planning to implementation, monitor costs, and report progress to the business unit.

As part of the role, you’ll work with internal teams, participate in design discussions, resolve obstacles, and help ensure on‑time, on‑budget project outcomes; travel up to 20% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project plan and coordinates the attainment of project deliverables from planning to implementation.
• Drive project deliverables and task details through reports, tracking charts and checklists.
• Align activities of internal resources to achieve on-time and within-budget performance for the project.
• Monitor, and report to the business unit on project costs and performance.
• Participate in intra-business unit design teams to complete projects and contribute to technical development.
• Research causes of project obstacles and assist in implementing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Will prepare project plan and coordinates the attainment of project deliverables from planning to implementation. Maintains matrix for process improvements
• Will drive project deliverables and task details by through the use reports, tracking charts and, checklists.
• Aligns the activities of resources internal to the business unit to achieve on-time and within budget performance objectives for the project.
• Monitors, and reports to the business unit on project's cost performance.
• Will participate on intra business unit design teams to complete projects. Will contribute to the team's technical development in the pursuit of the team's project goals.
• Will research causes to project obstacles and assist in implementing solutions for resolution.
