Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz Asia Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a senior technical leader to drive the development of Receiver products from concept through production release, ensuring specifications and datasheets are precise.

The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, managing technical work packages, and aligning designs with manufacturing, quality, supply chain and service to deliver reliable, compliant products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications or related field.
• 8–10 years in product development, systems engineering, or technical project leadership.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams on complex development projects.
• Strong requirements management, specifications, design and validation experience.
• Experience collaborating with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Service.
• Knowledge of Receiver, RF or wireless technologies preferred.
• Strong PM and stakeholder management; excellent communication.

Job description

Tasks

• Lead the technical development of Receiver products from concept through production release.

• Prepare and maintain detailed technical product specifications and technical datasheets.

• Define, manage, and monitor technical work packages to ensure timely and quality execution.

• Lead and coordinate technical sub-project leaders and cross-functional engineering teams.

• Ensure product designs meet requirements defined in the Project.

• Align detailed design objectives with Engineering, Production, Service, Materials, and other stakeholders.

• Drive technical reviews, problem resolution, risk management, and design validation activities.

• Develop the production footprint in collaboration with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and relevant divisions; integrate with steering board projects when required.

• Identify and leverage synergies across products, technologies, and development projects.

• Engage with product management to understand requirements, provide technical support, and gather product feedback.

• Ensure technical quality, product performance, reliability, and compliance with applicable standards throughout the product lifecycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 8-10 years of experience in product development, systems engineering, or technical project leadership.

• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary development teams and complex product development projects.

• Strong background in requirements management, technical specifications, product design, and validation.

• Experience working closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Service organizations.

• Knowledge of Receiver, RF, wireless communication, or related technologies is preferred.

• Strong project management, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels.
