Job summary

A leading project management firm is seeking a highly organized Project Engineer to manage system migration projects to a cloud-based platform in Singapore. Responsibilities include coordinating teams, tracking progress, managing budgets, and ensuring seamless delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree and have experience in technology or system migration projects. This is a contract role for 3 years with a salary range from $4,500 to $6,500 per month.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly organized Project Engineer to manage system migration projects to a cloud-based platform for one of our esteemed clients. The role involves coordinating teams, tracking progress, managing budgets, and ensuring seamless project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and facilitate project meetings with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.


• Track project progress, monitor risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery.


• Prepare agendas, capture minutes, follow up on action items, and report progress to management and stakeholders.


• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, compliance requirements, and client expectations.


• Manage project budgets in collaboration with the Finance team.


• Facilitate design and technical review sessions with contractors and cloud architects, incorporating feedback into deliverables.


• Drive continuous improvement through post-project evaluations and lessons learned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field.


• Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Project Coordinator in technology or system migration projects.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office for Windows.


• Relevant project management experience in transit or large‑scale technology systems will be a plus.


• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently.


• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.


• Demonstrated leadership, analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.


• Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing requirements.


• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud migration practices.
