Technical Program Manager, Fleet Remediation Engineering

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and ensure continual access to innovation for our customers. We tackle challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain, seeking talented individuals to join our diverse team of engineers, specialists, and managers.

We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to support our data center retrofit programs, modernizing and improving our extensive data center fleet. The role involves interacting with internal and external customers and executing rapidly while delivering high-quality functionality. Our capital improvements are essential for meeting customer expectations and Amazon’s goals of efficiency, speed, and reliability.

You will engage with cloud infrastructure at scale, interacting daily with teams responsible for engineering, development, finance, and operation of complex capital improvement programs. You'll prioritize activities, solve problems, and focus on impactful actions for program success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and gain buy-in on plans and programs to enhance our data centers and infrastructure.
• Generate high-quality communications and reports for leadership and stakeholders.
• Proactively identify risks/issues and remove blockers to ensure program success.
• Collaborate across organizations and serve as a linchpin for successful program delivery.

Requirements

• Experience with data center or building infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of data analysis, scheduling, and project management tools like Tableau, Procore, MS Projects, Primavera P6, etc.
• Experience managing technical portfolios, programs, or projects.
• Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure.
