Job Description

Location: Seletar, Singapore

A new opportunity has arisen for a skilled Technical Planner to join our On-Wing Services (OWS) team based in Singapore. This is a fantastic chance to play a pivotal role in Civil Aerospace Aftermarket Operations by supporting business-critical engine maintenance activities within the global Rolls-Royce On-Wing Services network.

Rolls-Royce Power Systems is headquartered in Friedrichshafen, Germany, and employs around 9,000 people. Our product portfolio includes mtu-brand high-speed engines and propulsion systems for ships, power generation, heavy land, rail, and defense vehicles, as well as solutions for the oil and gas industry, diesel and gas systems, and battery containers for mission-critical, standby, and continuous power, combined heat and power generation, and microgrids.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Develop, produce, and publish technical work instructions in line with Airworthiness regulations.
  2. Conduct technical assessments of customer work requests.
  3. Complete administrative tasks aligned to work request requirements.
  4. Coordinate with OWS service partners to ensure resource, tool, and material availability.
  5. Support resolution of customer issues and concerns.
  6. Process customer invoices accurately and promptly.
  7. Monitor service partner performance to meet contractual obligations.
  8. Define task scope with customers or internal stakeholders.
  9. Support audits and quality investigations.
  10. Enhance service delivery through task optimization.
  11. Champion key processes/tools or provide technical expertise as needed.
  12. Develop, maintain, and report performance metrics.
Qualifications
Essential:
  • Strong technical or service operations background.
  • IT proficiency, especially in planning and scheduling systems.
  • Experience in planning in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • Customer-focused with flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.
  • Experience as a Planner in project-oriented settings.
  • Understanding of project controls, baseline management, and change control.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver quality work on time.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized and able to remain effective amid shifting priorities.
  • Willingness to work permanent night shifts.
Desirable:
  • Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience in aircraft and engine maintenance planning.
  • Background in civil aviation engine maintenance.
  • Familiarity with Part 145 regulations.
  • Professional qualification in project planning or management.
  • Experience in contract administration and invoicing in aviation.
