Technical Officer Signal and Communication BPLRT
Job Purpose
The Technical Officer, Signal and Communication, is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on the respective systems. He / She also conducts fault attendance, diagnosis tests, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications to components and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Work in rotating or fixed shifts (i.a.w. MOM guidelines), as assigned by supervisors.
- Perform maintenance activities at heights.
- Perform preventive maintenance on components and equipment, as assigned by supervisors.
- Perform corrective maintenance on components and equipment, as assigned by supervisors.
- Perform modifications on components and equipment, as assigned by supervisor.
- Operate ground support equipment, testers, and tools, as assigned by supervisors.
- Drive company vehicle for work purposes, as assigned by supervisors. (Applicable for those with Singapore Driving License).
- Perform PM/PIC roles.
- Observe and report safety concerns at the workplace.
- Comply with policies and regulations, including SOPs, statutory, and regulator requirements.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by supervisor, such as responding to emergency operations, assisting in projects, supervising contractors, preparing reports, providing logistics support, and maintaining housekeeping.
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Nitec in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Preferably 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Skills
- Proficient in using general tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Basic MS Office skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently.
