Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect MRT tracks, third rails, tunnels and peripherals per work instructions.
• Walk approximately 5km of track during inspection.
• Carry out day-to-day inspection and administration activities of Pway Patrolling department.
• Support cross-functional teams as required.
• Ensure latest version of work instructions/procedures is used.
• Meet KPIs and maintain productivity and quality.
• Attend daily toolbox briefings by Person-In-Charge or Possession Master.
• Subject to safety inspections/audits at worksites to ensure safety compliance.
• Carry out tasks as assigned by the AE/STO/Detailer.
• Act as Person-in-Charge or Possession Master when required.
• Work in a team and ensure safety of teammates.
• Maintain proper conduct during inspection works.

Job Purpose

The Technical Officer, Inspection is to perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) track inspection in accordance with work instructions.

• Identify and categories the defects found with references provided.
• All tracks, tunnels and the associated peripherals shall be effectively and efficiently inspected to provide asafe and reliable journey for our commuters.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the MRT tracks, third rails, tunnels, and the associated peripherals in accordance with work instructions
• Walk approximately 5km of tracks during inspection.
• Carry out the day-to-day inspection and administration activities of Pway Patrolling department.
• Support cross functional teamsas and when required.
• Ensure that the latest version of work instructions/procedures are used.
• Meet the set KPIs and maintain high level of productivity and quality.
• Attend daily Toolbox briefing conducted by Person-In-Charge or Possession Master.
• Subjected to regular safety inspection/audit at worksites to ensure compliance to safety procedures.
• Carry out work / job / task as per assigned by the AE/STO/Detailer.
• Carry-out the role of Person-in-charge or Possession master duties and responsibilities.
• Able to work in team and ensure the safety and care of fellow teammates.
• To ensure proper conduct and behavior when carrying out inspection works.

Qualifications & Work Experience

• NITEC / NTC 3 / Higher NITEC in the following discipline:

  Rapid Transit / Aerospace / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronic / Microelectronic / Marine / Robotics.
