Job summary

A leading testing laboratory in Singapore is seeking a laboratory technician to perform chemical testing of samples and maintain the laboratory quality system. Candidates should have a minimum diploma in a related discipline and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. A Class 3 driving license is advantageous. This role may require shift work.

Qualifications

• Possess Class 3 driving license would be advantageous.
• Willing to work on shifts where required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for chemical testing of samples in the laboratory.

• Ensure tests are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

• Maintain clean and orderly laboratory environment.
• Maintain inventory and stock of reagents and supplies.
• Other ad-hoc duties as requested by the HOD.

Responsibilities

Responsible for chemical testing of samples in the laboratory in accordance with standard methods.

Assist in maintaining laboratory quality system according to SAC‑Singlas accreditation.

Ensure tests are completed in a timely, reliable and accurate manner, and in accordance to standard protocols and procedures.

Operate laboratory equipment and assist in sample preparation and processing.

Perform quality control checks on laboratory equipment.

Ensure all safety guidelines are followed at all times and maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment.

Maintain inventory and stock of laboratory’s reagents, chemicals and supplies.

Other ad‑hoc duties as requested by the HOD.
