Ideal candidates possess a diploma in Facilities/Building Services, have a passion for the field, and preferably hold a Class 3 driving license.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a key member of the Facilities team, you will be required to perform routine maintenance duties to support a variety of buildings/structures/grounds, plant security systems, electrical, and mechanical repairs works and operate specialized equipment as required.

• Respond to requests and attend to buildings /structures or equipment that require repairs or maintenance.

• Provide preliminary assessments of damaged building infrastructures or parts and inform engineers of repair needs.

• Perform routine facilities maintenance to ensure building infrastructures operate efficiently.

• Oversee and administer various contracts of the Power Stations including but not limited to, cleaning, landscaping, pest control, waste disposal, sewerage treatment plants' service & maintenance.

• Administer and maintain company vehicles and buggies including the charging system.

• Maintain the Power Plants' communication systems such as telephone PABX systems, walkie-talkies, audio/video systems, etc.

• Set up and tear down equipment for events (e.g. company activities, etc).

• Raise spare part purchases, review tender /purchase requisite quotations and perform tracking of parts and materials used.

• Lead the repair or replacement of the malfunctioning components of circuit wiring, conduits, lighting fixtures, receptacles, and switches.

• Prepare weekly and monthly activity reports for submission to the engineers in charge.

• Provide support to the Facilities team on ad hoc tasks as and when required.

• Administer work order through Maximo system.

• Review method of statement submitted by vendor/contractor for works carried out by them.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma in Facilities/Building Services or equivalent

• Candidates with a good working attitude and a passion for Facilities Management are encouraged to apply
