Job description

What You’ll Do:

1. Supervise the technicians and contractors.

2. Plan and supervise any improvement works on the gas distribution network to enhance the safety and reliability of the gas supply system.

3. Enforce safe work practices and compliance with the Workplace Safety & Health Act.

4. Ensure that materials, work orders, and completion certificates for payments are issued accordingly.

5. Ensure that the tools and equipment for repair works are adequate and properly maintained for operational readiness.

6. Ensure proper training and competency of the technicians in carrying out the operations and maintenance of the gas distribution network.

7. Ensure the operations of the Unit meet the KPIs set by the regulator and management.

8. Perform emergency standby duties.

9. Perform any other duties related to the job.

What You’ll Need:

1. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from recognized Polytechnics in Singapore.

2. Understanding of the gas distribution network/facilities.

3. Skills in network fault troubleshooting.

4. Strong technical knowledge in the operations and maintenance of the gas distribution network.

5. Skills in project planning, execution and management.

6. Physically fit for site works

7. Possess own transport for site works
